These terms apply to freight forwarding, relocation, warehousing, customs clearance, insurance facilitation, exhibition logistics and packing services provided by Ashoka International ("we", "us"). A specific engagement is also governed by the quotation and any service agreement signed for that assignment, which takes precedence over these general terms where the two differ.
Quotations are based on the information provided at the time of survey or enquiry — including volume, item types, origin, destination and timeline. Quotations may be revised if actual conditions differ materially from what was described.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate documentation and disclosures required for customs clearance, including for duty-exempt or diplomatic-bond shipments. We are not liable for delays or penalties arising from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the client or relevant authorities.
Transit or comprehensive insurance is available as described on our Services page and applies only where specifically purchased for a shipment. Claims must be submitted with the documentation set out in our insurance process (Bill of Lading, packing list, delivery receipt noting any damage, claim form and photographs).
For diplomatic and government relocations specifically, client identity and shipment details are handled on a need-to-know basis and are not disclosed publicly or used in marketing materials without explicit written permission.
